I'm a curious mind. If something catches my attention, I want to explore it, understand it, get to know what it's about. My education goes beyond the classroom walls; gifted to me by every single person I have spoken to and place I have been to so far in my life. Much of my professional and personal experiences has been led by this curiosity. My thinking is intertwined with my global encounters, taking lessons learned from here and there, absorbing observations of customs and details and cultures. Asking questions. And connecting the dots that appear unrelatable. What you will get either knowing me or working together is someone who is professional, takes responsibility seriously, loyal, always does the best within the circumstances, open-minded, practices implementing lessons I’ve learned, transparent, polite, elegant and adaptable.

I'm interested in...

opportunities to be part of a team that creates and manages cafes, co-working, co-living, hotels and other similar experiences. On a side note but related, I have a personal idea I'd like to test of a more sustainable approach in using existing, 'dead spaces' to create new hospitality experiences (if anyone wants to give this a go).

I get excited about ...

Delighting people.Leaving a lasting (inspiring) impression; creating moments that make a memorable emotional shift to someone’s day; a deep feeling of satisfaction that remains etched in a person's memory.Want to talk? Want to find out more?

I say ‘talk’ but the truth is I start by listening to you.Too often we rush ahead, wanting to solve things without fully understanding what is the actual situation. Happy to start the conversation with the big question "what problem(s) are you currently facing?" and "what's concerning you?"

Please send me an email to organise a call or a real-life chat (if we are in the same city).

Under my entrepreneurial endeavour, I...
- established, grew and maintained a network called Word of Mouth from scratch after arriving in a new city and country. The community represented the diverse eco-system of Berlin’s ambitious and inspiring people. This had culminated in 100+ conversations across personal and professional topics, organically with no advertisements, and 200+ newsletter subscribers in Berlin and worldwide.
- successfully delivered 30+ events (public, private, small and large) in 1.5 years; responsible for each step of their creation, from concept to planning, to project management and execution, followed by publically available content of the events.- curated a monthly email newsletter (with high open rate) that explored content surrounding technology, leadership, empowerment, and more. I developed the Wing Woman series to spotlight and champion female entrepreneurship in the Berlin start-up scene.- connected people that have resulted in other projects happening.- taken full financial risk.- assisted others in their business development, operations and strategy.I understand what goes into taking a risk for an idea that one truly believes in can work. Without external funding I could no longer develop the idea. But it hasn't stopped me from seeing more opportunities that I believe could benefit people and places.

PROJECTS

Some things I work on.

I am looking for...

- projects (all lengths and locations)
- a team to work with (working alone can be good, but nobody makes things happen on their own)
For example, is your project stuck? Have you ever thought of getting someone completely outside the industry to have a look?

I have had to learn on the spot an array of topics to do my work which always ends up being useful as a resource in new ideas and looking at things differently. These topics include fintech (and financial inclusion), cryptocurrencies, emergency and crisis management, policing, NFT and gaming, and cybersecurity.

I can....

- help in taking an idea and making it a reality: project design, planning and management, going from conceptualisation to implementation. In sum, assisting in the development of big picture (strategy) and small details (planning).- quickly learn new topics, a non-negotiable skill to adapt to work across a variety of industries and issues (i.e. fintech and financial inclusion, cryptocurrencies, emergency and crisis management, international relations, policing, NFT and gaming, and cybersecurity).- build, maintain and grow sincere connections and relations through community and network.- develop and implement high quality customer service to strengthen brand reputation and business development.- create engaging, useful and valuable events.- write for different purposes and audiences across many subjects: policy, briefings, newsletters, recommendations, correspondences, invitations, introductions, essays, blogs, etc.- research, analyse and form advisory recommendations (i.e. creative ideas, improved management systems) with reasoning and judgement.- critically think; challenge conventional and group thinking.- be comfortable doing things differently. Changes have to start from somewhere.- take the B.S. out of things and figure out what is really going on.- take on new challenges with minimal previous experience (within reason, of course).

Character

Baseline shy: I prefer listening than talking, but I am also a…Doer: (step aside shyness) when something needs to get done, it gets done.Responsible: representing someone else’s business is serious, it’s a respect for their risk; it’s also a reflection of me: my reputation and trust building.Transparent: attitude that it is always better to share as much information as possible, not leaving anything and anyone in the dark; it reduces risks and increases opportunities to always improve.Modest and humble: I am comfortable with saying what I’ve done but I prefer to let my actions be my words.Professional: raised with understanding the value of professionalism: show up on time, dress appropriately, do the work as best you can and on time.Polite and elegant: you can take me to an event, a client meal and not be worried of embarrassing behaviour (i.e. I know how to hold and eat with a knife and folk).Adaptable: multicultural upbringing; integration as a sign of respect and means to connection.
